Dr. Lauren Chmielewski is a board-certified plastic surgeon whose practice includes cosmetic, reconstructive, and hand surgery. She specializes in body contouring procedures of the “core”. In particular, she enjoys restoration and enhancement of the abdomen, waist, and breast after pregnancy or weight loss.

Dr. Chmielewski was born and raised in Philadelphia. She attended Princeton University where she majored in Chemistry, Classic Greek and played Division I softball. While spending three post-baccalaureate years at the University of Pennsylvania she honed her Spanish language skills through study, volunteering, and living abroad. She ultimately decided to pursue her medical training at Case Western University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. She remained at Case to complete a rigorous, six-year integrated plastic surgery residency under the tutelage of the world-renowned Dr. Bahman Guyuron.
