Dr. Zachary Gerut has over 30 years of experience in Cosmetic Plastic Surgery. He has pioneered and published new surgical procedures and has invented new surgical devices. He has held and does hold academic appointments at two nationally renowned universities. He is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery and has been a consultant to many biomedical companies including Baxter®, a global force in medical and surgical innovations.

Dr. Zachary Gerut attended Brandeis University and then the University of Massachusetts Medical School graduating with Special Distinction in Surgery. He served his internship and residency at Montefiore Hospital – Albert Einstein Medical Center in NY, after which he became an Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery. He is presently Medical Director at the Touro University Physician Assistant School.
